Re-visiting Blake’s
quotes truly reveals a high order suggestion with apparent simplicity. That I
missed understanding this poet to a better extent makes me feel ‘guilty’ though
not a culprit myself by design or desire.
I say so because the natural adoration for Blake has been rather in a
low key as against the rich adoration of a few others. Better late than never
fits the occasion ably well to say the least.

is now proved was once only imagined
This quote, apart from
being simple stands to establish the fact that imagination is the seed for a
futuristic reality. What looks improbable would turn real later. It also means
that human mind is vested with creative thinking and systematic thinking leads
to making improved facility by 'organized approach

the universe there are things that are known, things that are unknown, and in
between, there are doors
Humans live in a world of
known [things understood] and unknown [things not yet understood /used].
However, life moves on through efforts of finding new options / tools / by
exploration [doors]
We
are not meant to resolve all contradictions but meant to live with them and
rise above them.

its advisory stature. It suggests that peace does not accrue from our ability
to ‘clear’ all doubts and controversies/ contradictions. Trying to accept
prevalent things as natural is the simplest approach to be free from stress.

your own rules or be a slave to another man’s
The above quote is a piece of advice to humans in
shaping their life. It says be determined in leading a life that suits your
values/ preferences. If you do not frame your way of living , it would be done
by others and you would be governed by views of others.
The
imagination is not a state: it is human existence itself
This quote clarifies that human life is itself
shaped by imagination and that imagination is not a temporary state.
