11.25 am தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்து அரங்கமேஎழுந்து நின்று  பங்கெடுத்து ப்பாடியது.. வித்யாவிற்கு ஒரு புது அனுபவம்.. பாடல் முடிந்ததும் மீண்டும் அமர்ந்து நிகழ்ச்சிகள் துவங்கின.

மிருணாளினி அறிவித்த படி துணை வேந்தர் விக்டர் தனது உரையை வழங்கினார்.    [குறிப்புகள் துணை கொண்டு ].  We are inded privileged to have your august presence [ Dr. Vidhya] on this the  opening event for 2023-2024 particularly for the ARTS SEGMENT OF OUR UNIVERSITY. That you evince keen interest in our TRADITIONAL   ART PROGRAMME augurs too well for the day’s proceedings. We look forward to the strength of your support in the days to come , to make our system a distinguished academic ensemble for comprehensive updating of knowledge relevant to the domain under reference.  We would feel proud to have your visits more often as a trigger of motivation to access new horizons and achieve the intended goal to be a point of reference for such academic pursuits in this part of the country.  On behalf of the entire work force of this university, I EXPRESS sincere appreciation and GRATITUDE for your useful help in  promoting the validity of our efforts. சிரித்துக்கொண்டே வந்த வித்யா , மேலே சுழலும் விசிறியை கா ட்ட , அது உடனே நிறுத்தப்பட்டது . சுபத்ரா தயாராக இருந்த மெழுகு வர்த்தி யை வித்யா கரங்களில் கொடுக்க , பவ்யமாக வாங்கி ஒரு திரியை உயிர்ப்பித்து , மெழுகு வர்த்ததியை சிரித்துக்கொண்டே V C கையில் தந்தார்.,  VC தன்  பங்குக்கு ஒரு திரியை உயிர்ப்பித்து , ரெஜிஸ்திரார், சுபத்திரா , பிற முக்கியஸ்தர்கள் என்று மொத்தம் 8 முனை கொண்ட விளக்கு உயிர்த்து ரம்யமாக  காட்சி தந்தது. மிகுந்த துல்யமாக நடந்தேறிய நிகழ்வுகளால் வந்திருந்த மக்களும் புது மாணவர்களும் , மிகுந்த அக்கறையோடு கற்க வேண்டிய ஒரு நிறுவனத்திற்கு வந்துள்ளோம் என்பதை புரிந்து கொண்டனர்.

ஒரு கையை போடியம் என்னும் பேசுமேடை மீது ஹார்மோனியம் பற்றுவதைப்போல வைத்துக்கொண்டு மொத்த சபையினரையும் ஒரு பார்வை பார்த்து விட்டு பேச துவங்கினார் வித்யா , உடனே போடியம் மீது ஒரு புதிய தண்ணீர் பாட்டில் வைக்கப்பட்டது [சுபத்திராவா கொக்கா என்று சொல்லத்தோன்றுகிறதோ?]

Respected Vice-Chancellor, learned faculty, staff of the university and my dear young students     I am neither an academician nor an official adressing meetings and I seek your pardon for any lax expressions that may creep in as I speak, since it is an unusual exercise I am circumstantially pushed into என்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டே மேடையில் திரை மறைவில் நின்றிருந்த சுபத்திரா வை ஒரு விஷமப்புன்னகையோடு வித்யா பார்க்க , அங்கே  சுபத்திராவோ கை கூப்பி என்னை மாட்டிவிட்டுடாதீங்க என்னும் தோரணையில் தலை அசைக்க , ஒரு சிறு புன்னகையுடன் தொடர்ந்தார் வித்யா. As a nation we are simultaneously making strides in different domains. As we have a treasure of traditions to showcase and register our due pride in the Inter national arena, steps are afoot to nurture , support and promote all dimensions of Indian ART , I mean every form of it. We have immense potential to draw tourists by systematic fielding of Indian art for its innate concern for environment , human entertainment and such other intricately balanced ensemble of daily life, festivities and talent preservation through generations involving house, temple society, climate and animals. Unless portrayed such a tradition may eternally be  lost to some tentative display of western glamour. So our ministry is keen to support spread of ART through prioper education , involving our youth, so that tradition takes care of itself for all time to come. As one co-ordinating such National pursuits, I AM PROUD TO STATE that your  University stands tall in this domain as a guiding beacon, soon to be emulated by many others if not by all. மாடசாமி அதிர்ந்தார் -அம்மாடி ஏன்னா பேச்சு பேசறாங்க வேதாந்தம் எப்பிடிறா சமாளிப்பான் இந்த அம்மாவை என்றார் மாடசாமி . போடா நீ வேற அவன் பயங்கர கில்லாடிடா வருஷத்துக்கு 7 -8 செமினார் பேசறான் இந்தியாவுல என்றார் ராமசாமி. நம்மள மாதிரியாடா அவனெல்லாம் இருப்பான்-- ஹி ஹீ ஹீ  என்று இருவருமே வாயைப்பொத்திக்கொண்டு சிரித்தனர்.
