INSPIRATION - III
Caution:
Inspiration also carries the
potential risk of running into an imitative culture. This attitude must be
scrupulously curbed. Otherwise, the individual will not raise his or her skills
to full potential. Instead, the person will decline into imitation. Imitation
always carries a jocular significance and is fit only for stage acting.
Besides, imitation does not provide any scope for new additions. It rather
curbs the natural potential for growth. If a person slips into the imitative
approach, it implies inappropriate motivation and incomplete inspiration. It
also destroys the fineness in an individual for keeping pace with future. For
any of these deviant preferences, the recipient alone is responsible. It is
ideal to alert our youngsters of the malady. However, a set of factors together
determine the individual’s opportunity for inspiration and sustenance of
inspired functioning. Obviously in all crucial developments in one’s life,
there is a dictate of divinity. Our general attitude for quality forms the
basis for much of what we do.
Inspiration as a factor by itself:
Meeting the right person at the right stage in one’s life has to occur. Inspiration in the early youth is a clear advantage to the individual and to the society. Inspiration kindles the spirit and enhances the scope for self analysis that revolves round attaining standards and achieving quality. To start with, inspiration forces the person to launch comparisons of comparable persons and processes. This is an automatic impulse from the soul, since inspiration generally touches the soul. A soul-stirring induction runs in search of truth, elegance and tranquility. Any agency or person satisfying these is accepted as good. This results from a comparison preferred by the soul. This is a serious evolution within and the person may not be fully aware of it. At this stage the individual keeps on telling, “I do not like this, or the person, his or her functioning” and so on. Those yet to get inspired, fail to recognize what the person looks for. The person appears queer in their perception.
This has been going on for ages, no
matter what is the scale of deterioration. But for this silent transformation
in people, the society would have run into chaos long ago. As is always the
case, good things are a numerical minority and are not very popular either. Yet
they are strewn in our social fabric at some places. The blessed amongst us
recognize them and tow their line delightfully. The delight is soul satisfying
even if the people around do not help the effort any bit. This appears to be a
providential design and little can be done to change it. The divine blessing
being so, the really inspired stand motivated to carry the crusade selfless and
undaunted. So, my request to any one inspired or motivated is, be proud that
you are distinct and chosen by destiny to be purposeful. God has put you on
this track to run and reach the goal. Concentrate on the task given. Others may
watch and criticize. Pardon them, for they cannot do any better.
