THE NEXT   ITEM ON THE AGENDA IS A Bharatha natyam piece from KRISHNA LEELA INVOLVING A TUSSLE between Sathyabamaa and Rukmini OVER “PAARIJAATHA”TRRE/FLOWERS , the inevitable mediator being Lord Krishna himself. THE TROUPE: Ms. GouriKalyani , Ms. Sukanya [I PG] and                   Mr. Sambasivam [II PG].

மேடையில் மெல்லிய ஒளியில் இருக்கைகள் அகற்றப்பெற்று ,VIP மற்றும் உயர் அதிகாரிகள் மேடைக்கு கீழே நல்ல இருக்கைகளில் அமர , சில்பா தலையுடன் சதாசிவம் கிருஷ்ணர் போலவே இருக்க ருக்மிணியாக கௌரி, பாமா வாக சுகன்யா, முதல் ஒருநிமிடம் பாமா துவங்க கிருஷ்ணர் பாமாவுக்கே என்பது போல இயைந்து நன்றாக ஆட அவ்வப்போது கைதட்டல், இரண்டாவது நிமிடம் முதல் ருக்மிணி [கௌரி] கிருஷ்ணரை பிலு பிலு என்று உலுக்கும் ஆதிக்க நடனம் அபிநயித்து ஒரே கைதட்டல், சுழன்றாடி கௌரி பிய்த்தெறிந்துவிட்டாள் . VIP கள் மிகுந்த ஆர்வம் கொண்டு பாராட்டினார். அதுவரை மட்டுமே நடனப்பகுதி இடம் பெற்றது ,குறுகிய கால அவகாசம் கருதி.. அரங்கில்  மாடசாமி ராம சாமி மகிழ்ந்து ரசித்தனர்..

Respected Dignitaries, our beloved Chief guest Dr. Vidhya, Staff and Students , I have no words that would adequately render justice to my unbridled affection and respects to all our people here. I am happy to tell all that the members of the dance troupe that performed here to-day have won National merit Scholarships for their PG study. I thank our chief guest for helping these students through Scholarships.  Looking towards Vidya, she said, we are more than honoured by your presence madam. Reiterating our VC’s plea we look forward to your visits to our campus and thank you for all that you have done to us and Subadhra folded her hands .

Setting aside the protocol, Vidhyaa came to the podium and said , Dr.Subadhra [PERHAPS INADVERTENTLY] made it appear that we did some help in financial allocation for students.  It is opportune to clarify now. All scholarships have been awarded only ON ROBUST MERIT.                   Look at GOURI. IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME RIGHT, SHE IS GOURI KALYANI Isn’t it? YES people said

She has an enduring and endearing combination of items in her qualification, B.Sc Chemistry, Diplomas in German and French , BharathaNatyam , martial art “SILAMBAM’., with sterling performance in all the components vital for reckoning.        What better can we ask for?. We did nothing except picking the most meritorious; Looking to Gouri,  Vidhyaa said CONGRATS GOURI , KEEP IT UP. All the best                                   So it is merit; not me or anyone else behind these scholarships..                                        Gouri made herself visible to audience and stood folding her hands. So too was Dr. Subadhra.               Madasaami was in tears leaning on Ramasami. ஆனந்தக்கண்ணீர் அருவியென ஊற்றெடுத்தது

National anthem was played; Tea was served to all in the Annexe and for VIP DIGNITARIES IN THE LOUNGE. On day 1 of the opening of university , Gouri became a star thanks tio proper fielding by Subadhra. இனி யூனிவர்சிட்டி வளாகத்தில் பலருக்கு கௌரி ஒரு மாடல் என்று சொல்லும் காலம் விரைவில் வரும்.
